We made the trip today back to the hospital and left the chemo pumps behind. I am glad to be able to move freely around now. I still have the ports that were installed but I am not tied to the pumps.
My blood counts were much lower than yesterday. That is what was forecast to happen and should continue to decrease over the next few days. After I start on the two growth factor shots each day, they should come back.
In reading this blog, it will probably look like it has been a terrible week but it has not been. There have been some things I didn't like going through and at times were a little painful but there have been many uplifting and enjoyable experiences too. I wish I could find words to adequately explain what I mean but then again, I think you might understand.
