Monday, June 17--Still Not Ready To Go For Stem Cell Collection

My white cell count continued to ease up to 2.58. They did a test called Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Count. That test does not cost as much to do as the ProCOUNT and showed the stem cell count was not high enough to even do a ProCOUNT to determine if I was ready for apheresis. That means I did not get the ports changed out in preparation of going for stem cell collection. I continued to get the two injections of Neuopogen today. On the first round at this point, when my stem cell counts did not go up, they doubled the Neupogen injections. They have not said they would do that this time. White cell count 2.58, hemoglobin-8.3, platelets-87.
